Another new SsangYong Concept – the SsangYong SIV-1 – is heading for Geneva 2013 to join the new Rodius debut. SsangYong are heading to the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with a new version of the Rodius, which we’re hoping (although not with too much confidence) will be a big improvement on the very challenging looks of the current car. The hope that SsangYong will manage to deliver a Rodius that doesn’t frighten small children is boosted today with the first photos of a new concept from the Indian-owned Korean car maker – the SsangYong SIV-1 Concept (pictured above) – which will arrive at Geneva alongside the new Rodius.
Making its public debut at the New York Auto Show, the Terrain is a compact SUV-crossover which fits in below the Acadia in the GMC model line-up. Featuring an overall length more than a foot shorter than the Acadia, the Terrain is laden with technology and boasts a multitude of functional storage compartments within its well-resolved exterior design. Jay Leno took one of the first non-GM-employee drives of the new Chevy Camaro Z/28 on his “Jay Leno's Garage” web series this week. He talked with chief engineer Al Oppenheiser at his warehouse about what it took to add the famous name to the proud pony car. We first saw the new Camaro at the New York auto show in March.
